📡Ufone SIM — Quick Facts
To check Ufone SIM owner details, send MNP to 667 from the Ufone SIM. The reply shows the registered owner’s name. To find out how many Ufone SIMs are registered on your CNIC, SMS your CNIC to 668. The owner of a Ufone number you do not hold is private, and only law enforcement can obtain it through legal process.
Last checked: October 2026. This site is independent of Ufone, PTML, PTA and NADRA. We have no access to subscriber data.
Ufone, PTML and the Telenor merger
Ufone is run by PTML (Pak Telecom Mobile Ltd). In July 2026, after final approvals, Telenor Pakistan was merged into PTML, so Ufone and Telenor are now part of the same company. Service continuity was promised for both sets of customers.
For a Ufone user checking SIM ownership, nothing changes in practice:
- MNP to 667, CNIC to 668, cnic.sims.pk and 76367 work the same way they did before.
- Your Ufone SIM stays registered on the same CNIC. The merger did not move SIMs between people.
- If you have both a Ufone and a Telenor SIM, both still count toward your one limit of 5 voice and 3 data-only SIMs per CNIC.
- Keep using Ufone’s own helpline, 333 from your Ufone SIM, unless Ufone tells you otherwise.

Who owns the Ufone SIM in my phone?
Send MNP to 667 from that Ufone SIM. You will get back:
- the registered owner’s name,
- the CNIC with some digits hidden,
- the date the SIM was activated.
A small SMS charge may apply. 667 only reports on the SIM that sends the SMS, so you cannot use it to check another person’s Ufone number. More detail is on our 667 owner check page.
If the reply shows someone else’s name, remember PTA’s rule from December 2025: the SIM must be in the name of the person who actually uses it, and the registered owner is held responsible for its calls, messages and data. The fix is an ownership transfer, explained below.
Ufone SIMs registered on my CNIC
To check whether any Ufone SIM has been issued on your CNIC:
- Type your 13-digit CNIC with no dashes.
- Send it to 668 (about Rs 2 plus tax).
- The reply lists active SIMs on your CNIC by operator. Look at the Ufone figure.

Check owner of a Ufone number someone else uses
This is not possible through any public route. Ufone holds its subscriber records, verified against NADRA, and does not release them to the public. PTA does not either. Any site or app claiming to show the owner of any Ufone number is not official. These usually show outdated leaked data or invented names, and may store whatever you type.
To see which network a number is on now, send N 03XXXXXXXXX to 76367 (Rs 2 plus tax). The reply gives the network only.
Ufone numbers were first issued in the 033 series, such as 0333. Because of Mobile Number Portability, a 033 number may have moved to another network, and some numbers outside the 033 series are now on Ufone. Check with 76367 rather than relying on the prefix.
Sorting out a Ufone SIM: disown, transfer, replacement
Ufone handles these at its franchise and customer service centres. Bring your original CNIC. Your fingerprints will be checked against NADRA records, as for every SIM issue, replacement or transfer in Pakistan. We do not list charges here; ask Ufone directly.
Disown a Ufone SIM you did not take
If 668 shows a Ufone SIM you do not recognise, ask the Ufone centre to remove it from your CNIC. Under PTA’s FAQ, a disown request from the CNIC holder is treated as a request for removal, after biometric verification. See also our page on deactivating an extra SIM.
Transfer a Ufone SIM
Use this when a Ufone number is used by someone other than the registered owner, or to move a deceased relative’s number to an heir. Ask Ufone who needs to attend, since biometric verification is required. PTA disconnected over 900,000 SIMs on deceased persons’ CNICs in the first seven months of 2026.
Replace a lost Ufone SIM
Call 333 from another Ufone SIM, or visit a centre, to block the lost SIM. Then get a replacement at a Ufone centre with your CNIC and biometrics. If your phone was stolen too, report the handset’s IMEI to PTA.
Escalating a Ufone complaint
- Complain to Ufone first and write down the complaint number.
- If unresolved, file with PTA online through its Complaint Management System, or call 0800-55055 toll-free. Include your name, contact details, the Ufone complaint number and a short description.
- Harassment, threats or fraud from a Ufone number: report to NCCIA on 1799, with screenshots and numbers kept as evidence.
- Spam SMS: forward to 9000.

Do I need to re-register my Ufone SIM because of the Telenor merger?
No such requirement is part of the published merger information. Your SIM stays on your CNIC. If Ufone ever contacts you about re-verification, confirm it on 333 or at a Ufone centre before doing anything.
Will Ufone and Telenor SIMs show together in my 668 reply?
The 668 reply breaks the count down by operator. Read the operator names in the reply. If anything is unclear, ask Ufone customer service. Your total under the 5 + 3 limit is the same either way.
Can Ufone customer service tell me the owner of a number?
No. They will not share another subscriber’s details. If a Ufone number is being misused against you, report it to NCCIA.
Can I disown a Ufone SIM by SMS?
No. Removal needs biometric verification, so you have to visit a Ufone centre with your original CNIC.
